PRIVATE TOURS
We offer three distinct private tours. They include, The Prado Tour, The Royal Palace, & our Golden Triangle Package! The time of these tours can vary between 1.5 to 5 hours. There is a lot of walking, but there's also a lot beautiful art and history to admire along the way!
On our Prado Tour, you'll get to see works from Bosch, El Greco, Botticelli, and many other Renaissance era artists. Our Royal Palace Tour takes you on a journey through time, and chronicles the rise, and eventual fall, of the Spanish Empire. While on this tour, we'll also check out the Royal Armory, and see some of the armor worn by Spanish monarchs throughout the ages. When we're done at the Palace, we'll head over to the Almudena Cathedral, where you'll get that perfect picture.
Our Golden Triangle Package offers you the opportunity to experience three museums in one day! We'll start at the Thyssen, where we'll view the second largest private art collection in the world. After we finish at the Thyssen, we'll take a brisk walk through the park on our way to the Prado. When we get to the Prado, we'll stroll around the museum for about an hour, and view the spectacular works of Raphael, Goya, Bosch, El Greco, and many others. Once we're finished viewing some of the Renaissances most gorgeous paintings, we'll head to the cafeteria for a quick lunch. When we're finished eating, we'll hop in a car, and head on over to the Reina Sofia, where we'll explore the meaning of some of the worlds most famous modern art masterpieces, such as those painted by Rothko, Dali, Bacon, and Picasso, just to name a few. This tour can last anywhere between 4.5 to 5 hours in length.
